It's 1947, and an innocent New Yorker named Jimmy Creedman is taking an evening walk, the red-streaked sky playing on his face like a neon sign.  Suddenly a woman dashes from an alley and falls into his arms like a discarded bundle of dirty laundry.  Desperately seeking help, she gives Creedman a key, moments before a bullet comes out of the alley and strikes her like a small, cylindrical piece of lead.  And with that, Mr. Creedman finds himself caught up in a Cold War adventure with a beautiful spy, a pair of murderous thugs, and a clue to what could be the end of the world -- or at least the end of his sad existence.

 

World of Spycraft is an old-fashioned radio comedy, complete with on-stage sound effects and simulated action scenes.  Check your February Spotlight for a members-only playreading, and then look for AUDITIONS in March.  (Exact dates to be announced.)  The show goes public in April and May at various locations.
